Discover the Night owl d’Avignon
Since the beginning of the adventure of the Noctambules d’Avignon, I have made you discover the history through these tourist circuits in Avignon. The idea is to make you discover the secrets and the little stories that have made the great history of Avignon. This is why I offer you various tourist circuits in Avignon.
Each Night owl therefore takes you to a part of the city with its characteristic alleys. Each has a different theme. One will focus on the Popes. There are also two specific themes. The first highlights the contribution of Christians and bourgeois. While the second shows how the past has influenced the present.
Since 2021, I have developed day tours that allow you to visit places that are closed at night. You can discover the city’s emblematic squares during a 3-hour walking tour. Why not stroll through the city’s historic garden, bypassing the Palais des Papes?
In 2022, I suggest you leave the ramparts of the city of Avignon to discover its sister city of Villeneuve lez Avignon. For a complete discovery of this often forgotten city, I suggest a daytime circuit “Between King and Popes” and a night tour.
